Gawin.ph Town Hall for July 2019

Gawin.ph recently held a vendor town hall for Gawin.ph’s compare vendors. The purpose of this town hall is to educate the vendors on how to look professional while using the Gawin.ph platform when dealing with customers as well as updates in the upcoming months for Gawin.ph.

The town hall started with Erika from Gawin’s Vendor Engagement Team on how building a great profile on the Gawin platform is vital. As a professional-looking profile helps to attract customers when they are selecting a service provider. Erika also noted that by providing a short description of their company and upload pictures of previous jobs greatly increases a customer’s trust.

Aside from having a good business profile on the platform, Rhonalyn explained that having positive reviews by other consumers help other consumers to select them, as most consumers will read online reviews and will trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations before submitting any requests.

For the next segment of the town hall, Rhonalyn presented the features that some service providers are not aware of. Like all receipts are issued automatically once the request is done to reduce the hassle of service providers of issuing one to the customers. So that can spend more time on finding more jobs and having an easier time to follow up with customers.

To fulfil Gawin.ph’s mission of helping SMEs to digitize their business, Rhonalyn showed the transactions panel to the service providers that are not familiar with it. This transaction panel help service providers eliminate traditional bookkeeping and able to review any past transactions anytime. Rhonalyn also explained what are the upcoming incentives and how to participate in it.
